About College

BRS Degree College is located in the serene and historic village of Gandhi Nagar, Bhuvanapalli, in Nidamarru Mandal, Eluru District. This region holds a special place in India’s freedom struggle, as thousands of brave freedom fighters actively participated in the Salt Satyagraha Movement led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930.

Nestled amidst lush green fields, the college boasts a peaceful and inspiring environment that fosters learning and intellectual growth. The sprawling 18-acre campus is home to more than 25 buildings, thoughtfully designed to support both academic and extracurricular activities.

Established in July 2021, BRS Degree College was founded with the aim of providing quality higher education to the rural and semi-urban population of Bhuvanapalli and surrounding areas. Responding to the aspirations of the local community and the efforts of the Bhimavaram Education Society, the college became a reality thanks to the generous contribution of Sri Kotikalapudi Govinda Rao, whose philanthropic spirit made this institution possible.
